• Thorough analysis of anionic molecular interaction ability
• Performed quantum chemical calculations to determine electrical stability
• Investigated the cost feasibility of using particular ionic liquids for CO2 emission capture when performed on an industry-sized scale

Research Assistant with Professor Peter Brauer of Notre Dame
• Presented research at the IEEE VPPC International Conference in Seoul, South Korea October ‘12 resulting in a research grant provided by the Vincent P. Slatt Endowment
• Created simulations of modern hybrid vehicles with MATLAB
• Experimented with various fuels to determine engine efficiency coefficients
• Executed calculations of theoretical mile per gallon values for comparison to actual mile per gallon figures and proposed plausible hypotheses on how to minimize the difference
