Radar Test Engineer AN/FPS-85 Radar
• Test Engineer supporting the command and control (C2), and employment of the AN/FPS-85 phased array radar located at Eglin Air Force Base (AFB), FL which is operated and maintained by the 20th Space Control Squadron (20 SPCS).
• Test Engineer for the Maintenance Test Station (MTS) which will replace/upgrade obsolete components which are reaching end-of-life (EOL) and are no longer supportable. The MTS is necessary for maintaining the Eglin radar transmitters.
• Test Engineer for the Transmitter Calibration Monitor Unit (TCMU) which will replace/upgrade obsolete components which are reaching end-of-life (EOL) and are no longer supportable. Transmitter Calibration Monitor Unit equipment is used to provide a means of systematically checking and monitoring the ANFPS-85 Radar Transmitter Modules.
• Test Engineer for the Time Shared Option (TSO) which will upgrade storage capacity, data redundancy and peer-to-peer connectivity for the AN/FPS-85 Radar System
• Created and executed test plans and procedures including Master Test Plan (MTP), System Test Plans (STP), System Test Reports (STR), and Acceptance Test Procedures.
