MECHANICAL ENGINEERING EXPERIENCE
Design of Collation Machine Using Rollers (Senior Project) August 2014 – May 2015
Collaborated in a team of two and to develop, design, and prove the concept of a roller driven paper collating machine that collates paper booklets aiming to reduce small factory workloads and helping with time management. Three months were spent designing and sizing the necessary mechanical and electrical components and an additional three months were spent building and testing the prototype.
Design of Venetian Swing August 2014
This was a class project with separate groups so communication made an impact. My focus was the initial drafting and the modeling for the project. Completed the initial drafting and conceptualization for the boat seat on the swing. Modeling was then done on the computer as well as assembly for design. Iterations and different simpler solutions was achieved. Calculations and analysis taken into account on the swing as a whole. Project completed with finite element analysis and simulations.
