Qualifications Profile
o Extensive knowledge of electrical engineering design and theory with a focus in power systems analysis. Proficient in analysis of electrical wiring diagrams, fault analysis, and power distribution examination in electric circuits
o Developed strong leadership and project management skills during my 16 month internship, at Advanced Micro Devices (AMD), where I trained new employees and took charge in projects
o Profound experience in C, AutoCAD, ETAP, PSPICE, & Matlab that I developed over the years completing multiple projects at Ryerson University and AMD
o Cultivated proficiency and skill in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and VBA during my internship at AMD
o Refined interdisciplinary experience, multi-tasking and independent skills that strengthened during my internship, where I had to debug multiple Graphic Processing Units (GPUs) through meeting and coordinating with multiple teams
Relevant Work Experience
Memory Tuning and Approval Group Intern; Advanced Micro Devices. Markham, ON. May 2013 – Aug 2014
o Managed multiple projects to completion by arranging the order of the qualification tests required in order to optimize the test stations and computers available.
o In charge of improving on scripts which stress and finding optimal dynamic random access memory (DRAM) settings which would then be implemented in the latest AMD GPU HD series
- Modelled and reconciled the differences in data between different memory types and vendors to pick the optimal vendor to implement in the consumer product GPU, increasing the organizations productivity
- Helped save the organization time and money by generating efficient scripts which were able to continue over times where I was not present and automatically run through tests when possible
o Worked with a multi-disciplined team cohesively to complete assigned projects and resolve critical customer issues
o Successfully troubleshot issues with GPU cards that were experiencing failure in either Windows or Linux by running diagnostics and communicating effectively with other team members
- Analyzed multiple memory and GPU data sheets to study different registers to decrypt reasons behind random failures for specific memory stress tests
o Served as team lead from January to August 2014, responsibilities included:
- Coordinated training and supervision for incoming students
- Preparing documents and script used to train newly employed
- Explaining internal work procedures and processes to incoming students
- Utilization of leadership skills to assign work and assist on each students projects
Tutor; Oxford Learning Centre. Toronto, ON. July 2010 - May 2011
o Tutored high school students in math & science as well as Calculus I for first year university students
o Expanded on my micromanagement skills while working as I was responsible for up to three students simultaneously
o Created and logged a profile of each student to assess their academic level and find weaknesses
o Advanced the academic level of the respective students by teaching them material ahead the school’s pace
