- Maintain the reliability and continued operation of the power distribution system and electrical infrastructure
- Interact with electricians, schedulers, engineers, and other personnel on a daily basis to support maintenance efforts
- Oversee motor repair and documentation program for ~1000 installed motors and ~150 spare motors
- Lead electrical safety committee meetings to discuss and solve electrical hazard concerns
- Issue energized work permits for electricians to perform maintenance on live electrical equipment
- - Utilize ETAP to calculate arc flash values for the permit
- Write standard operating procedures to guide the energization/de-energization and distribution switching of plant processes
- Audit, review and create electrical safety maintenance procedures
- Apply change management procedures for alterations involving electrical equipment and infrastructure
