-Designed tools to aid in the manufacturing of detail parts for the Gulfstream P42 business jet.
•Global 7000/8000 – Stress Analyst and Design Engineer Sept. 2014 – Aug. 2015
-Fatigue and damage tolerance analysis was performed for the Bombardier Global 7000 and 8000 leading edge slats using NASGRO methods. The tasks performed included interpreting NASGRO crack growth data, writing analysis spreadsheets, and writing stress summary reports of the results.
-Analyzed the structural integrity of metallic detail parts of the slats of the Global 7000 and 8000 jet. This included writing static analysis spreadsheets, creating/analyzing FEM buckling data, and writing stress summary reports for detail parts.
-Engineered design work for detail parts on the Bombardier aircraft which involved updating hardware, materials, tolerances, and part geometry.
•L85 Learjet – Stress Analyst Feb. 2013 – Aug. 2014
-The structural adequacy of metallic and composite detail parts was evaluated in the tailcone and horizontal stabilizer of the L85 Jet. This included writing static and fatigue analysis spreadsheets, creating/analyzing FEM data, and documenting stress reports for production parts.
•CPI Recon Pod – Design Engineer Jul. 2012 - Dec. 2012
-Legacy detail part models, assemblies, and systems installations were updated with necessary design changes based on program specifications.
-Drafted engineering drawings for the completed models of the Recon Pod.
