PROJECTS
HAND-POWERED SYRINGE PUMP, Senior Capstone Project, Binghamton, NY August ’13- May ‘14
• Developed a method to create a purely mechanical syringe pump that has a flow rate of 1 microliter per minute
• Collaborated in a team with two other engineers to design, create, and test the syringe pump with a budget of $300
• Researched and analyzed the fluid dynamics inside the syringe mechanism required to displace the fluid
• Used a 3-D printer, the machine shop, and products ordered online to construct the syringe pump
CREO 2.0 LANDING GEAR PROJECT, Junior Final Project, Binghamton, NY November ’12- December ’12
· Designed an aircraft landing gear using Creo 2.0 with schematic drawings
· Analyzed the maximum stress and factor of safety on each pin of the landing gear using Creo Structure
WORK EXPERIENCE
SAMSUNG (HANWHA) TECHWIN, Seoul, South Korea June ‘15- August ‘15
Intern
• Developed a parametric optimization design method using ANSYS and Creo 2.0
• Successfully implemented the design method on a lathe fixture optimization project
• Learned to use other software programs such as CATIA and solidThinking (Inspire)
READING TOWN, Bayside, NY May ‘14- August ‘14
