• Completed training course in APQP in preparation for designing and supplying fuel tanks to the automotive industry.
• Responsible for planning and executing multiple projects from concept, through qualification testing and delivery of production grade product to the customer. Oversaw +225 projects over the last 7 years.
• Managed projects through the use of project requests (detailed scope definition), task planning/resource planning/costing by use of MS project, and tracking of qualification testing via phone and emails.
• Worked directly with fellow team members during all stages of projects to ensure we were on track and all working toward the same goals. Held weekly update meetings with personal from Production, Production control, Business Development, Quality, Design Engineering, and Manufacturing Engineering for complex projects.
• Oversaw the development of a broad range of products including; Compressed natural gas storage pressure vessels, hydrogen pressure vessels used for fuel, high pressure hydrogen storage vessels designed for fueling stations, composite/steel riser development for use in the oil drilling industry.
• Managed a project that involved a team of engineers working on the development of an improved hydrogen fuel tank that was partially funded by Department of Energy under the Hydrogen Storage Engineering Center of Excellence (HSECoE).
• Worked directly with Business Development personnel in determining if new leads/projects were beneficial in pursuing as projects in both cost and long term upside with potential new customers.
• Represented several projects at the U.S. Department of Energy - 2010 Annual Merit Review in Washington, D.C. in which I presented both an oral and a poster presentation.
• Attended several workshops regarding techniques on becoming a more efficient Project Manager.

• Responsible for managing project team including Design Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Purchasing/Sourcing, and Tooling.
• Responsible for aligning relationships between our project team and the end customers.
• Responsible for ensuring that the team is following our internal procedures set out to control the overall progress of the project.
• Early involvement with new programs to aid in determining if the business case is sound; determining if they fit our business objectives.
• Responsible for creating and updating internal timelines of each phase of the design.

• Worked with our newly opened manufacturing facility in Chennai, India.

• Responsible for costing and quoting of all products, prototype and production, in and through the Lincoln Facility.
• Facilitated the costing of all equipment, mold tooling, stamping tools etc., for both prototyping and production.
• Managed one full time Industrial Engineer and one Industrial Engineering Intern.
• Presented data for customer negotiations for our high volume customers, yearly and quarterly has required.
• Responsible for updating costing on all standard product produced at the Lincoln facility.
• Maintained routings that were used for costing, labor scheduling, and labor reporting.
• Performed function of validating all components costing in system to ensure inventories are valued accurately.
• Audited all products costing, from the labor standpoint, to ensure we are hitting targets on the manufacturing floor.
• Led the initiative to fully understand the impact of VAT charges on exported goods out of China. This ensured that our products were priced accurately and thus passed onto our end customers.
• Worked directly with Shanghai, Beijing and Penang facilities to understand costing of products that were being released from their facilities.
• Responsible for the setting of transfer pricing for all products that were shipping out of our Asian facility to customers.
