• Serve as 3Di Layout Group Manager, leading initiatives to solve design and production challenges. Projects include
R&D on a completely new layout, departing from our traditional approach; working with materials engineers and
Python to better understand local forces causing wrinkles; a new form of structural sail control we call Helix.
• Assist in the management of the development and improvement of the 3Di Product Line, working closely with a
cross-functional team to identify needs of the North customer base and make sure our products meet their needs.
• Schedule and lead large-scale (5-25 people) design meetings, presenting progress reports and status updates, suggesting
paths forward, and maintaining meeting pace and topic leading to expedited project completion.
• Assist in the hiring process of 3 full time engineers and 4 interns through one on one interviews, group interviews, and

Production Software Specialist & Trainer North Sails, Marblehead, MA (Remote) February 2019 - January 2021
• Led the processing of high-value projects like Super Yacht sails and experimental designs. Reduced SY sail failures by
50% with new processing method and enabled previously impossible experimentation through software expertise.
• Became the company's in-house expert on Warps (sail design software) and its associated programs, improving and
managing its algorithms and features leading to the completion of 6 unusual previously out of reach projects and dozens
of algorithmic updates.
• Created and implemented a training program for Warps software for both new hires and existing team members; trained
10-15 designers in Warps software, improving project turnaround by 40% and reducing my workload by 30%.
• Oversaw logistics for large scale meetings by scheduling car service, lodging, note taking, and time keeping, maintaining
eciency of 4 meetings.
Sail Design & Production Analyst North Sails, Marblehead, MA January 2018 - February 2019
• Conducted regular quality checks on custom and smaller sails to ensure they met company standards drastically reducing
warranties and production issues. Standard sail warranties were decreased by 10%.
• Assisted in the processing of standard and custom projects by creating a new procedure for tracking, processing, and
designing customs orders which greatly diminished delays, confusion, and warranties on custom orders. Delayed custom
orders were went down by 30% and warranties by 20%.
• Initiated and maintained the Design Team's Shared Drive, organized folders and managed access leading to 80+
designers around the world gaining access to previously unavailable educational and collaborative materials.
Waterfront Manager Community Sailing Center, Burlington, VT 2015 - 2017
• Managed rental and storage operations of one of the largest community sailing operations on the East Coast, increasing
eciency and reducing safety incidents.
